An exhibition of upcycled and recycled garments, plus jewellery & art dolls, starting with a massive 3 day sale of designer garments, jewellery, gifts and recycled wear.

Opening night is Thursday 7th July, 5.30pm - 8pm. Sale continues on:
Friday 8th: 10am - 8pm.
Saturday 9th: 10am - 5pm.
Sunday 10th: 11am - 4pm.

Upcycling simply means reworking old fabric and materials - the possibilities are nearly endless. I have a group of very talented designers who are very passionate about creating fashion-forward styles and using upcylced and refurbished clothing to create new and fun women's fashion. There are tons and tons to choose from, like one of a kind skirts, shirts, dresses, hand-knit scarves and socks. I have coasters from Rock & Roller which are made out of recycled vinyl records, art dolls from Creative Gifts, jewellery and more!

A little bit about House of Hedone:
“My idea is to create a space that gives everyone an exciting visual experience from a great selection of New Zealand artists and designers. My aim is to bring together the most beautiful, unusual and exclusive collection of art, fashion, sculptures and accessories that are made right here in New Zealand,” says House of Hedone’s founder and owner Phoebe Phibbs.

With this vision and oodles of passion, the recently opened House of Hedone is already becoming a favourite with lovers of art and fashion. New exhibitions grace this off-the-beat underground location every month. For the fashionistas there is a selection of garments and accessories from Brady, Maaike, Dalston and a host of talented young designers. All this makes this quirky gallery a unique experience.
