This year's annual Vent group exhibition at Thermostat Gallery involves all the exhibiting artists currently living overseas. They are based in Dresden, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Las Vegas. All have differing ties and connections to New Zealand, some born and raised here, others living here for long periods of time. This exhibition is an opportunity to see something of their current practice, and often, the notable influence of their country of residence.

Shelley Malcolm, Barnard McIntyre, Clare Firth-Smith, Victor Berezovsky, Sandra Schmidt, Matthew Couper, J.K. Russ, David Boyce, Christian Hogue and Leahlani Johnson have submitted a range of works in varying media.

The exhibition runs from 2 - 21 July.
