New Zealand Folk Pop songstress Michelle Nadia has been writing and performing her songs since the age of 18. She has played for audiences up and down her own country as well as further a field in London, Los Angeles, New York, Dublin and Sydney where she majored in vocals at the Australian Institute of Music.

Michelle's song 'Stars' has received radio play in New Zealand and has been used on Air New Zealand's inflight entertainment. Her 'Stars' video plays on Juice TV and she has also made television appearances on TVNZ's Good Morning and Juice TV's 'Live at the Wintergarden'.

Michelle recorded her debut album 'Firefly' with producer Nic Manders at Bruce Lynch's Boat Shed. Her studio band includes Bruce Lynch (Cat Stevens, Kate Bush), Nic Manders (Brooke Fraser, Lydia Cole, Brigitte Demeyer), Andy Lynch (The
Feelers, Zed), Murray Grindlay (Stevie Ray Vaughn, Award Winning Composer of Once Were Warriors Soundtrack), Murray McNabb (Award Winning Composer of Once Were Warriors Soundtrack), Jolyon Mulholland (Gasoline Cowboy, Neil Finn), Patrick Khutze (Carly Binding) and Daniel Irvine (Brooke Fraser, Luke Thompson).

‘Firefly’ was released in March 2011 and was featured on New Zealand iTunes New & Noteworthy and was Kiwi FM IAN Indie Album of the Week.

The album's title track 'Firefly' was also recently featured on BBC Essex Introducing Show in the UK. Michelle has just completed a nationwide tour of New Zealand and is about to embark on a tour of the UK.
