On the 12th of March 2011, Pasifika returns to Auckland. Later that evening, join us for an even more "Pasifika" flavour.

This all-star lineup features:
- UNITY PACIFIC - The exclusive Tigilau Ness - Ness is one of the founding fathers of roots reggae in Aotearoa. He started singing roots reggae in the mid 1970's with I - Unity. He helped found Twelve Tribes of Israel in New Zealand in the early 1980's and played in the house band as well as touring with his own band Second Power. He reformed Unity in 1992, which then became Unity Pacific in 2001.

- OCEANIA STORM - The Storm have been together since 2006 and are a 10 piece band consisting of 4 vocalists (3 males and 1 female) who share a part at being lead throughout the performance. Each brings their own unique harmony and vocal range. The tight Rhythm section is second to none, jamming out the sounds to keep your hands clapping and feet moving. These guys have had the honour of playing alongside other NZ artists such as Katchafire, Stan Walker, Smashproof, P Money/PNC, Tiki Taane, 1814 and many others.

- KWABAX - West Auckland's latest round of hot and rugged talent. They're an eight piece band who is starting to make their mark in the music scene. From reggae and contemporary music to the sweet sounds of the Islands! They have recently open up for Fiji, the super star of reggae from the Pacific. Kwabax is full of young talents, and has the potential to do really well in the music industry....watch this space!

- MIKE PAU - Mike is no stranger when it comes to performing. A member of the well known Jamoa Jam, he is one of the most talented Pacific Islander here in New Zealand that can rock the crowd out of no where. Whether he is in a group or by himself, he can set the stage alight with his singing and stage presence....you got to see it to believe it!

Join us at the The Thirsty Whale - together as one - a night of entertainment and a fresh Pasifika vibe!

This is an exclusive event. Tickets are only available online & from venue.
