An exhibition of recent works (and some 1970s works revisited) by New Zealand artist Roy Good.

Good’s paintings continue to operate within their own laws of colour, space, shape and form and have the ability to charm and challenge the viewer with their very existence as objects of contemplation.

Good established himself as a painter of repute in the early 1970s, with his signature shaped, minimalist paintings of triangles, octagons and lintels, and became part of a small group of abstract painters associated with Auckland art dealer Petar Vuletic. It was a stable that included Gordon Walters, Phillip O’Sullivan, Milan Mrkusich, Geoff Thornley and Ian Scott.
