Join Philip Trusttum and special guests for fine dining and finer wines sponsored by Kirkpatrick Estate Wines. Painter Philip Trusttum deconstructs the game of rugby, using his long-established cut-out technique to explore the complex cultural dynamics and physical theatre of New Zealand's most popular game.

Trusttum grew up with rugby. His father, who played for King Country in the 1940s, was an All Black trialist and in the opinion of many should have been selected to represent his country. Philip himself also had a great command of the game and played for North Canterbury in the early 1970s.
