Key information for competitors:
Competitor assistants: Each open and junior individual competitor and junior team is required to have an assistant of legal driving age to retrieve all of the competitor’s gear from staging areas and transport down the mountain road. If a competitor is going to leave gear (outerwear) at the Start, the competitor’s assistant must accompany the competitor to the top of the course to retrieve left gear, then follow (after all divisions have started) down to Stage 1 to collect ski gear, then drive down the mountain road after road closure has been released (after last competitor is on running leg).

Lift access: Lifts close at regular operational times. It is the responsibility of the participant and competitor’s assistant to ensure they are at the Rider’s Briefing in the Turoa Plaza at 3:30. Competition lift operating times will not be extended unless weather dictates otherwise.

Safety equipment:
- Helmets: All competitors must wear helmets for the ski/board leg and the bike leg. See entry form for details.
- Outer wear: During the ski/board leg, competitors must wear appropriate ski attire. Costumes are acceptable as long as they are appropriate attire for the conditions.

Road closure: The road will be closed to up-hill traffic at 4:20pm and closed to downhill traffic at 5pm. Be aware, although the road is closed, it does not guarantee that there will not be any traffic on the road. Please stay in downhill traffic lane. The road will be re-opened after the last competitor has completed the race.
