Featuring:
Annah Mac
Hot on the heels of release of her first album "Little Stranger", Annah Mac and her new band have chosen to perform in Devonport's very own Victoria Picture Palace & Theatre.

By the age of 19, the Southland export had already been mentored by some of New Zealand's top producers, opened for Kelly Clarkson and The Script, won a grant to hone her songwriting skills in Nashville and had been awarded the Smokefree Rockquest Female Musician award and the Play It Strange songwriting competition.

The 20 year-old prolific songwriter (she's written more than 30 songs this year alone), has won a large array of New Zealand songwriting and performing awards: Play It Strange songwriting award, Rockquest Female Musician award, Golden Guitar (or three).

Her latest single ‘Celia’ has received the honour of a nomination for the highly prestigious 2011 Silver Scroll Songwriting Award.

Annah's live band includes:
Jesse Sheehan: lead guitar (Rockquest winner '09 as a solo artist, The Electric Confectionaires);
Haddon Smith: bass and keys (The Electric Confectionaires, toured as session musician with Dave Dobbyn, Brooke Fraser, Gin Wigmore, Capt. Kirk); Rob Fenton: drums and percussion (The Electric Confectionaires).

Jesse Sheehan & the Family of Actors

Encompassing some of the greatest musical talent in New Zealand, it was founded by Jesse Sheehan in early 2010 after a successful solo career based in Wellington. His music has been applauded as honest and authentic; totally amazing; the real thing; undeniable talent; an established artist even at this early stage of his career, by key players in the New Zealand Music Industry such as Scott MacLachlan (A&R for Universal Music), Paul Mclaney (Mushroom Music Limited), Brooke Montaperto (A&R for EMI), and David Ridler (Assistant Manager of NZ On Air).

Five Mile Town
Recent winners of the North Shore SmokeFree RockQuest, 5 Mile Town are a duo. Louis McDonald and Adam Quigley write appealing original songs, from the sensitive "Balloons" through to Mumford and Sons-esque "I'm Listening", a high energy rolling epic of foot drum, harmonica, mandolin, all woven with slick acoustic duets.

The McDonald-penned "Balloons" was picked as one of the top 50 original songs for The Play It Strange 2011 CD.
