Amiria Grenell is a highly regarded singer-songwriter and recording artist hailing from the famous Grenell family: country legend dad – John Grenell, hip hop jazz producer brother – Oakley Grenell and multi-instrumentalist brother – Redford Grenell (ex-Shapeshifter drummer).
Amiria has recorded several albums and her latest Three Feathers was the winner of the 2012 RIANZ Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards Tui For Best Folk. Her imaginative songwriting and guitar playing has impressed audiences right around Aotearoa.
She toured with Fly My Pretties, sold out at the Christchurch Arts Festival, featured at Kaikoura Roots Festival, Luminate, Christchurch International Jazz Festival, wowed them at WOMAD 2012 and recently made the top 10 in the Official New Zealand Music Chart.
