Auckland Talent Quest Final

The Spirit Rising group will showcase some of their best artists in another Charity show for Starship. Special guests include Debbie Harwood out of NZ’s famous group “When the Cat’s Away”, Debbie will be one of the judges and will grace us on stage with a song. Guy Williams from Seven Days and TV 3’s The Jono Project will be a judge and has a main comedy spot.

C.S.R (Community Spirit Rising) was formed in 2009, held 15 popular events showcasing more than 35 performing artists on different occasions.

C.S.R consists of experienced and emerging individual artists that come together for shows held in Auckland theatres, talent range is: dance, performance poetry and rap, comedy, guitar & song, piano, accordions, violin, trumpet players and memory demonstrations. They often give the audience a go in open mic and much more always scouting the community for emerging talent, offering training and support to perform on stage in community family shows as the united group called C.S.R (Community Spirit Rising). They have a passionate commitment to support New Zealand charities and have held some great shows, recently creating & hosting the sold out 2011 Talent Quest for North Shore.

C.S.R offers a hand to keen emerging talent and has a goal to host national talent quests. Our motto is simple - “We are SpiritRising - Journey with us”
