The Cossie Clubs restaurant will have South African themed meals and will be open from 5.30pm. Phone 04 529 0002 to make a reservation for dinner before the show.

Barry performed in New Zealand for first time in 2011 as part of his serial comic world tour. This year's tour includes New Zealand once again, as well as Australia, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, London, Switzerland, Dublin, California, South Africa and a number of African countries.

He will leave New Zealand on 25 August as guest entertainer onboard the highly acclaimed Sun Princess, a cruise ship industry pioneer. This highly acclaimed vessel set a new standard in cruise ship design and onboard choice when it debuted in 1995. A 1,950-passenger ship, the Sun Princess rises 14 stories and measures nearly three football fields in length. There are lots of restaurants, theatres, bars, swimming pools and so on. Sun Princess is based in Australia year-round, sailing mainly from Sydney and Fremantle.

Anyone can relate to Barry's comedy style because, apart from the odd gag, his laugh-raising is mainly the comedy of observation. He takes everday occurrcences and people, adds the personal touch and references to his home and children and keeps the laughs coming at an incredible rate. A Hilton plus is the fact that he is never blue - only descending below the belt (literally) when discussing body-piercing. The worst word he uses is 'kak', proving that you don't need four letters to be funny.
