Presentations by New Zealand's most sought-after speakers and community innovators will give the public of Timaru the opportunity to hear for free insights and perspectives on achieving success, leadership and what New Zealand needs to do to succeed on a world scale. With an exclusive performance by Jeremy Redmore of Midnight Youth the event will both be entertaining and inspiring.

Sam Johnson - 2012 Coca Cola Amatil Young New Zealander of the Year
Now a household name, Sam is the founder and leader of the Student Volunteer Army in Christchurch. Sam utilised social networking skills to pull together a volunteer army of thousands of students to help out the shaken Christchurch community. The SVA has grown to have a support base of over 26,000 people Sam was also able to transfer his skills to help Japan after their devastating tsunami and earthquake, where he worked with Japanese students to help them set up a similar scheme. Sam has a number of exciting new projects and goals and looks forward to sharing them with the audience in Timaru.

Henare O'Keefe - 2012 New Zealand Local Hero of the Year
Henare has overcome huge adversity to transform the lives of many troubled youth in Flaxmere and Hastings. His humility and humour together with a gift for engaging and inspiring people is both touching and hugely motivating.

This free public event is only being held in Timaru in the South Island and offers a unique opportunity for students, parents, community leaders and business people to be inspired by these current and future leaders of our nation.

There will be an opportunity for the public to also ask questions of the speakers!

Registration is not necessary but recommend due to limited seating. Please email your name/s to to confirm your attendance - priority seating will be given to registered attendees. Seat allocation for groups is also available.
