Tom Furniss:
Tom Furniss is a relative newbie on the comedy scene. He went from being Highly Commended at the 2010 Raw Comedy Quest, to having a sell-out show at the 2011 New Zealand Comedy Festival. The show, Cold Duck and a Tamagotchi, performed with fellow comedian John Carr, earned the pair nominations for best newcomer and best marketing.

Outside of the stage, he is also a burgeoning filmmaker; with his film The Child Jumpers being this years National Winner of the V48hours film competition. He also won best actor for his performance in the film at the Auckland finals. Like with his comedy, it is Toms wild imagination and penchant for the absurd that has seen him stand out as a highly original writer and performer.

As part of a growing alternative comedy scene, he is a regular performer on shows such as Fanfiction and Friday Night Guilt Club, as well as having a regular spot on TVNZs ULive.

Tim Batt:
By day, Tim is the producer on Radio Hauraki's afternoon drive show.
By night he's possibly drunk. By the weekend he's sometimes in Six60 music videos (Rise Up), being a finalist in the Raw Comedy National Contest (2011) and staring in competition-topping 48Hour films (The Child Jumpers). He hopes you've had a great day."

Jamiane Ross:
Jamaine Ross was brilliantly funny and performed some fantastically confident and smart material that proved him to be a star of the future.
- Ingrid Grenar (

Gabriel Kearns:
2012 RAW comedy Quest semi-finalist.
"A keen observationalist with some astute one liners" - Comedy Capers

Paul Douglas:
"Up and coming comedian and Raw 2012 Finalist. Born in Kaitaia and raised in Hamilton, Paul has about as much natural class as a warm Waikato Draught but don't judge a book by its origin because his story is full of much more than a few classic yarns."

Chris Teal:
Previously known as the 4th most recognised air guitarist in Whangarei, Chris is making a big impact on the comedy scene in 2012.
A storyteller who creates absurd amounts of hilarity from the otherwise mundane aspects of everyday life, he can leave you in fits of laughter whilst poking fun at society's hangups.

Neil Elston:
This man Bear Migrated to Auckland from the Urban Jungle of Bolton, England 5 years ago. By Day this creature may seem cuddly and friendly however beware come feeding time he is The Beast of Bolton and the purveyor of awesomness!

Sam Polwart:
Self proclaimed 'CEO of awesomeness'
"Maharaja of manliness" - Matt Stellingwerf

Paul Amos:
Paul Amos doesn't really stick to the usual formulas and has an eclectic and imaginative style of comedy. He was the Runner Up at the 2011 Raw Comedy Quest and once won a prize for his mum in a Mother's Day competition when he was five.
