The Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ) 2012 Conference programme brings together renowned fundraising experts from New Zealand and abroad sharing their sought-after expertise.

The programme features international keynote speakers, including a plenary by legendary presenter Stephen Pidgeon of the UK (in his first-ever visit to New Zealand), one of the world's foremost authorities on not-for-profit fundraising. Other speakers include world-renowned Dr Rom Rudzki (winner of the Financial Times David Thomas Award), leading USA-based fundraising guru Sandy Rees and James Greenfield, who has written some of the sector’s most popular books including People to People Fundraising: Social Networking and Web 2.0 for Charities.

The Thursday of the conference is dedicated to four Master Classes. Those looking for a new approach to their jobs and fundraising will find the “Creativity for Work and Everyday Life – Lessons From the Artists to Help you Tackle Fundraising and Life Challenges” Master Class to be especially beneficial. The conference proper, which will be held on the Friday and Saturday, will feature more than 20 sessions including workshops and “Table Talk” discussions. During all three days, participants will benefit from gaining in-depth knowledge they can immediately begin applying to their work.

On Friday night, FINZ will hold the black-tie Fundraising Awards Dinner to recognise those who embody outstanding fundraising practice in New Zealand and FINZ's support of best practice in the sector. The Awards Dinner, the conference's most-anticipated event, will feature a notable keynote speaker who will be revealed closer to the date.

Trade exhibitors will be onsite, providing attendees a chance to learn more about products and services that can benefit their organisation.

Registration is now open at: FINZ, Fundraising Institute Australia and PRINZ members are able to take advantage of a discounted rate when registering for the conference.
