You don’t have to be a beer-lover to enjoy this gentle ride in the heart of hop country! Cycle past old hop kilns and through a private hop garden; visit artist’s studios and wineries; explore the village of Upper Moutere and relax with a lunch platter at The Moutere Inn. After lunch, cycle to a local farm to watch sheep being milked and talk to the cheese-maker before meandering back to the pub to end the ride.

Cyclists will also be able to visit the open studios of the Moutere Artisans, including the brand new Icon Centre for Contemporary Art with it’s gallery and sculpture park, sited on the outskirts of the village. Kahurangi Estate will also have a new release wine available for tasting on the day.
