Dunedin Indie rock trio are celebrating the release of their self-titled EP, and want to share a drink and a chat with you as they do it!

Formed in August 2010 in a garden shed in Dunedin, Grandfather Alps are Ryan (vocals, guitars, keyboard) Chris (percussion, vocals) and Pania (bass, vocals). Though the members are few, the sound is often larger than the sum of its parts. This may be due in part to the different stylistic influences present in the band, ranging from Radiohead-esque melodies, to the rhythmic grooves of James Jamerson, along with undertones of The National and Sigur Ros.

And now the train is gathering momentum, and the steam is blowing, so don't miss this night, because Grandfather Alps won't forget it!
