"In general, mankind, since the improvement of cookery, eats twice as much as nature requires" - Benjamin Franklin

This LATE we explore the sin most likely to leave your mouth watering – gluttony.

Join the PM's science advisor Professor Sir Peter Gluckman; academic and weight loss industry-critic Dr Andrew Dickson; and one of New Zealand's best known authorities on food – most recently seen judging this year's Masterchef series – Ray McVinnie, as they debate the virtues and vices of our relationships with food.

Entertainment on the night features a performance from the New Zealand Dance Company, choreographed by Artistic Director Shona McCullagh, followed by a live performance from Princess Chelsea including songs from her debut album Lil' Golden Book.

Entry through the Atrium. Food and a cash bar will be available.

Please note: The museum closes at 5pm and reopens at 7pm for the LATE.
