The relationship between a person and a dog needs time to develop and mature.

This class will teach you how to play with your dog - teaching control over their instincts and how to use their instincts to your advantage.

You will learn how to use your body language, your emotions and physical touch as rewards. Treats will only be given as 'surprises' for your dog.

What you'll learn:
- how to share a toy;
- how to teach games like retrieve;
- demonstrate the ability to wait nicely in a sit for a few moments building to a few minutes;
- getting your dog to come to his name and to a whistle;
- walk on a loose leash with mild to heavier distractions;
- demonstrate the ability to "leave it" momentarily when something fun or tasty drops to the floor or the ground in front of him or her;
- teach commands like sit, and down and how to do this in your every day life;
- build some self control and focus by watching the handler;
- learn more than you thought your dog could do!
