It's the middle of the week and what better excuse is there to take a break from the office than to attend a free concert by the Wellington members of the New Zealand Youth Choir.

This small and sprightly ensemble will perform a selection of colourful works from their 2012 repertoire and will be conducted by Music Director David Squire.

Repertoire included is:
- She’s like the swallow (Trad. Newfoundland, arr. Stephen Chatman)
- He wishes for the cloths of heaven (Stephen Lange)
- Libera me (Lajos Bárdos)
- Ten Cent Mixture (Helen Caskie)
- Two folk songs of the sea (Trad. NZ, arr. Douglas Mews)
- Lullaby of Birdland (George Shearing, arr. Andrew Carter)
- Didn’t it rain (David Hamilton)
- Mi mano amor (Joaquin Pildain)
- Who shall win my lady fair? (Robert Lucas de Pearsall)
- Minoi, minoi (Trad. Samoan, arr. Christopher Marshall)
- Locus iste (Anton Bruckner)
- Resonet in laudibus (Jakobus Gallus/Handl)
- I sing of a maiden (Richard Madden)

Entry is free and this will be the first NZYC concert of 2012
