Wow, huge thank you to The Wild for last week, seriously one of our most promising young bands, dudes will go far (they arguably already have!). Also thank you must go to Dan Aux too, and after the success of his set last week, we thought we’d follow up by bringing in the other two stalwarts of George FM’s daytime schedule. Also providing the perfect taster for the massive George FM House Party at The Nathan Club this Saturday.

When it come to dancefloor based music, not many can lay claim to being a bigger ambassador over the years in New Zealand than Nick D. From hosting TV shows on Max TV, Juice TV and C4 to being on radio more than half his life and his constant wake-up call every morning as host of George Breakfast. Like his Making Tracks show, expect an upfront selection of some of the wildest party beats and exotic treats you’ll find from all far corners of the globe.

Following up from Nick, as he does Mon-Fri (after Selectah of course) we have the often controversial, but always entertaining, Thane Kirby. The man that co-founded George FM and also helmed ALT TV holds down 3-6pm on 96.6 every day for George Drive, whilst also maintaining a residency at Auckland’s only always-busy-no-matter-what bar, Chapel. Kirby is a proponent of everything housey, funky or disco-ey, so will fit perfectly with the TNC vibe.

To support we’ve got in yet another George FM DJ, co-host of Beat Mafia Radio: Mr Reuben Rivers Smith. So stranger to the scene, RRS as he’s affectionately known, has hosted and supported some of the biggest names in house, disco, and popular music including Treasure Fingers, Roger Seventytwo, Mylo and DJ Fresh just to name a few.

Finally we’ve also got 2 more George FM/TVNZ U hosts, with Monty & The Face. Self-confessed hip hop junkies and purveyors of all things underground or a bit different, these two, if allowed a microphone, will balance banter with dope track selection all night long. So in summary it’s;

Nick D (George FM Breakfast)
Thane Kirby (George FM Drive)
Reuben Rivers Smith (Beat Mafia, George FM)
Monty and The Face (George FM, TVNZ U)
Daniel Farley
The Lost Boys
Mad World
Adventure Time

Just like last week, the illustrious basement will again be enacted for R20 and guestlist only. So whether you’re there or taking in our headliners in the main room, get down for our insane drink specials and a debaucherous last week of uni holidays.
