This three week course is derived from the Buddhist Mahamudra tradition by meditating on our mind itself. These simple yet effective meditations help us to unwind and let go; and experience mental clarity and inner peace.

Everyone is welcome to attend these classes regardless of previous experience of meditation or Buddhism. Each week, a new method will be clearly explained. Start any week. There is no need to book or bring anything. Each class includes guided meditations, teaching and discussion, followed by refreshments. These classes are presented by Buddhist nun, monk or teacher.

There will be copies of Meditations CD available to purchase, so you can then continue your personal practice of the meditations at home. The CD comes with a 16 page booklet of background information and guidance.

For Porirua, this weekly course is being held in "Pataka Education", towards Te Rauparaha Arena (access via large green gates at rear of Pataka Museum), every Thursday (7:00pm - 8:30pm).
