Luke Dale-Roberts of Cape Town’s The Test Kitchen teams up with the chef recently named New Zealand’s best in the Cuisine awards, Des Harris of Clooney, for an evening of inspiring and innovative dining as part of Restaurant Month in the BIG little City 2013.

How often do you get the opportunity to see the world’s best at work? The Test Kitchen was given the prestigious ‘One to Watch’ award at the 2013 San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurant awards. Luke Dale-Roberts is renowned for his innovative food, creativity and exquisite presentation. What better pairing could there be than world class talent of Des Harris and his team at the stunning award winning dining room at Clooney’s.

British born Luke is no stranger to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, having appeared there twice during his time as Head Chef of La Colombe, taking it to 12th place. Luke has a strong Kiwi connection; one of his early mentors was Le Roux Chef Kevin Hopgood now based in Nelson, and he worked at Bali Sugar in London under Peter Gordon. We are truly honoured to have his presence at Restaurant Month 2013.

A Taste of The Test Kitchen at Clooney is part of Restaurant Month 2013’s International Chef Dining Series, with some of the best chefs from around the world hosted by some of Auckland’s most accomplished establishments.
