"You’ve either got an ear for accents, or you haven’t." Heard this before? While it’s certainly true that some actors have a terrific aptitude for picking up accents swiftly and easily, working with accents is also a skill that can be learned and developed.

So if you struggle to learn and/or maintain a consistent accent when performing; long to deliver a strong, confident and spontaneous performance in an accent other than your own; would like to have the tools and confidence to approach any accent you may be required to work with...then you can’t afford to miss the “Accents and The Actor’s Voice” workshop with internationally trained voice tutor Kirstie O'Sullivan, Head Of Voice for Auckland's Actor's Program.

In association with Creative Communities/Auckland Council, Howick Little Theatre is offering this weekend workshop on October 12-13, 10am-4pm, for $60. (Limited to 10 people aged 18 years and over.) See the Workshops page on www.hlt.org.nz for further details and a registration form. Don't delay, as this will sell out very quickly.
