View the self designed former home and home office studio of Auckland city’s first ever appointed City Architect, Tibor Karl Donner. Designed by Donner in 1946 with the studio being added in 1953, both structures are now heritage protected. They have been the recipient of restoration funding by Auckland Council’s Environmental Initiatives Fund and the Waitākere Heritage Fund.
Come and enjoy time in the house and gardens, and take in the breath taking views back across the city. There are also a number of masterful etchings of early Auckland and other paintings by Donner on display within the house.
Your entrance fee contribution will be well spent on further restoration work.
Cost: $10 adult, $8 students and seniors, children free
