Butterflies are symbolic of the Deaf community because they are Deaf. They are also independent and their movement is very beautiful, just like hands moving to communicate in NZ Sign Language.
Come and see the butterflies as well as fish reptiles, crocodiles, momkeys, bugs and farm yard animals

There will be an NZSL Interpreter on the Crocodile talk at 11.30am, and the Butterfly release at 12 noon.

There is a special discounted rate for Deaf community members.
