The Purpose of This Concert is to raise funds and awareness for those living in Tanzania who's lives were lost due to preventable diseases such as Malaria.

Hello, my name is Hannah, and at the end of this year I am traveling to Tanzania, where I am volunteering in a hospital for a period of one month, where I hope to not only mature in my understanding of the world, but also bring gifts, assistance and joy to those less privileged than us. In order to fundraise for this trip, I have organized a cello concert held at St Hilda's Collegiate School Chapel (near Olveston) featuring the cello students of The Otago University as well as the internationally renowned cellist Heleen Du Plessis, performing pieces from Bach, Brahms, Bruch, Bridge and Apocalyptica.
