Reuben Lee, an acquired distaste:
Hailing from the holiday hotspot of Barnsley in the UK, Auckland based whinging Pom, Reuben waited 36 years before stepping up to the mic.
"He looks pretty unassuming & then proceeds to blow us down with hilarity." - (AUSM)
"Outstanding." - (Lucorum, UK)

Ed Caruthers is a leading exponent of one-liner comedy. He is known for his frightening gags-per-minute ratio and the quotability of his jokes, which are typically short, dark, and peculiar - like the man himself.
One of the few New Zealand comedians with extensive experience on the UK circuit, he has written for and featured on television, and has also appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe and New Zealand International Comedy Festivals. He has won mutiple NZ Comedy Guild Awards, including currently being the two-time defending champion of the Most Offensive Material award.

James Elliott:
Back in the day he was a regular on TVs Pulp Comedy and Radiosport. He also arranged and performed in the entertainment tours of East Timor for NZ and UN peacekeepers, writing for 7 Days and bringing his off-beat observational wit to subjects large and small.

John Glass
A comedian and actor of many years experience in film, theatre and TV, he has performed in all the classic comedies from Pulp Comedy to Shortland St, from the International Comedy Gala to Warm up Guy for legendary comedy show “The Panel” (Melbourne).

Hailed as the funniest Half Iranian half Pakistani comedian in New Zealand. Pax grew up in the land of the long white cloud, making his way through life as a brown and hairy young man in a mostly white and hairless world with the gift and/or mental illness of humour.
A finalist at the 2011 Raw Comedy quest and a regular all over the Auckland comedy circuit.

Tom Furniss:
Tom Furniss is a relative newbie on the comedy scene. He went from being Highly Commended at the 2010 Raw Comedy Quest, to having a sell-out show at the 2011 New Zealand Comedy Festival. The show, Cold Duck and a Tamagotchi, performed with fellow comedian John Carr, earned the pair nominations for best newcomer and best marketing.

Jamaine Ross:
Jamaine Ross was brilliantly funny and performed some fantastically confident and smart material that proved him to be a star of the future.
- Ingrid Grenar (

James Roque:
James moved from the Philippines at the age of 8 and has since grown up in New Zealand. award. He was a national finalist in the 2011 Raw Comedy Quest and was featured on TV3's AotearoHa: Next Big Things.

Stephen Witt:
Stephen Witt faces the commonplace, day to day happenings with a sideways perspective that will leave you wondering when to laugh. He is a new face on the comedy scene and became a finalist in the 2012 Raw Comedy Quest.

Paul Amos:
Paul Amos doesn't really stick to the usual formulas and has an eclectic and imaginative style of comedy. He was the Runner Up at the 2011 Raw Comedy Quest.

Nicole Steven:
Nicole is a proud Wellingtonian girl who moved to Auckland in 2010. A newbie on the comedy scene, in 2012 Nicole entered the Raw Comedy Quest and made it to the finals, one of only 2 women in the line up. She now performs regularly at The Classic.
