A Spirograph of patterns that glow in the dark...

Cusp is a kinetic sculpture that invites the audience to explore the motion of a series of pendulums. Give the pendulum a swing and create a glowing luminous trace that records the spiralling movement. Predictable, surprising or chaotic, the patterns are not always what they seem...

A big hit when first shown at Art in the Dark, Cusp fascinates both kids and adults. Each person's pattern is different, from large drunken sweeps to small timid flowers – come and discover your pattern!

Cusp will be installed in the dramatic interior of the Concrete Silos as part of Auckland Fringe Festival.
