01. How to cook Macarons

The macaron is one of the most envied French patisseries but is also very tricky to make. Thanks to the chefs from Patisserie Vaniyé and our teachers you will learn how to make them and practise your French. Take then the results of your hard work and enjoy a full box of macarons. Join us for a few hours of fun and thrill your senses with authentic French sweets at Patisserie Vaniyé. Limited to 8 seats!!

02. Tour de France of wine

Level: from late beginners

For your second French lesson, join us and relive the Tour de France 2013 from region to region, practice your French via games and quizzes and be part of the race to win the yellow jersey with your teammates. As for stages and rest days, do these like a real champ… with wine tasting. Our partner, Maison Vauron, will host the workshop.

03. French prepositions

Level: Intermediate beginners

Time for a good revision of the prepositions. This will help you to situate yourself in French through time and space, for example reviewing prepositions used with cities or countries. After the theory, exercises and games will help you develop your abilities to detect, learn and have a perfect command of these prepositions.

04. Call my wine bluff

Learn the French vocabulary used in wine tasting and discover numerous ways of describing this precious drink. Then be challenged by our specialists through a ‘Call My Bluff ‘game that will test your taste buds as well as your thirst for French knowledge.

05. Future Focus

Wednesday 16 October 6-8 p.m.
Level: full beginners

Futur simple and Futur proche : get a better grasp of these verb forms. This workshop will focus on reviewing the basic grammar of the future tenses. Then we will practise, reinforce them and gain confidence through exercises and games.

06. Qui est l'assassin ?

Thursday 17 October 7-10 p.m.
Level: Advanced (B2 + C1)

“Murder Mystery Nights” are a fun way to practice your French in a live situation during one evening of mystery. For this workshop you will receive information about your character's background in advance, then it's your turn to play! Be your character, try to solve the mystery of the murder and find the culprit while hiding your dirty little secrets from other players. Remember: trust no one! Booking before 7 October.
