This year Hawera’s ALTfest is moving to an ALTernative venue. Waihi Beach will be the place to be when headline Act Soulovus perform.

Situated at the end of Denby Road Hawera, the Reserve is a natural amphitheatre with ample grass area to sit and enjoy the music and atmosphere with the Tasman Sea as a backdrop.

Soulovus are a reggae band with a distinct kiwi flavour that fuses R&B and soul with an uplifting reggae beat. They will be supported by Knights of the Dub Table a band whose sonic frequencies will take the audience on a high energy, dynamic journey.

Reserve and Beach access will be closed to the public for the day. Limited parking will be available or catch a free shuttle ride from TSB Hub, Waihi Road carpark.

This event is R18 and ID will be required. Please note that there is no BYO this year. Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and food will be available for purchase at the event.

Tickets are $20.00 (booking fee may apply) and are on sale now from TSB Hub, South Taranaki, New Plymouth and Stratford i-SITE Visitor Centres. Tickets will also be available at the gate on the day for $25.00.

This event is supported by TSB Community Trust.
