Three mighty acts come steaming through for your Saturday night. Besides, the Film Fest is over we're here to fill the gap!

Hopetoun Brown
By day they're Supergroove horn section. By night they stalk the streets, their antique wind instruments shrieking wildly. The pair measure each bar like a lumberjack aims his axe. Nick Atkinson's big clarinet supports Tim Stewart's heavy trumpet tone, a sound hefty enough to bend a bough. Boots stomp and the crowd hollers as Stewart's powerful voice soulfully bellows out hits like Not Enough Love and Road Runner Rocks.

Road Warriors
Road Warriors are a melodic rock band that draws influences from Shellac to Gillian Welsh, Philip Glass to Wild Billy Childish. Bassist Matt ‘Lickitty-Split’ Short, lays down dynamic rhythms in which Drummer, Sam ‘Thumper’ Ralston delves into and stems out of. Giving him the freedom to bend time and feels with pleasurable ease. Whilst guitarist/vocalist Saan Barratt, and violinist Anda Vitola weave delicate tones and shimmering falsettos to create a caldron of vulnerable anger with a touch of romantic optimism.

Callum Gentleman
Trouper, Raconteur, Impresario, Murder Ballad Lover; Callum Gentleman basically writes stories. Those stories usually come out as songs. Songs about good people doing bad things, & bad people who try to be good (they often fail). Fallen Angels staring to heaven, contrite demons yearning for redemption, down & out junkies scrounging for a dollar, the devil gets it on with the wrong with a heart of gold. From the child's whisper to the drunk man's roar, Callum's got a voice for them all.
