This superb exhibition is heading your way - by train! A powerful KiwiRail engine is pulling new scenic carriages and four themed containers, each packed with fascinating displays about rail in New Zealand.

Stopping at Frankton Railway Station in Hamtilon, there will be family fun, prizes and giveaways.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome, so don't miss Keeping NZ On the Move.

Other activities:
Jump into the drivers seat of a KiwiRail locomotive and talk with the locomotive engineer (train driver).

Come and see one of the heavy machinery vehicles we use to maintain the railway network, and talk with an operator.

Heritage trains on show: Take a look back in time by viewing a Cat Tamper Group or Mk6 Tamper, which will be on display.

150th Rail Anniversary memorabilia items will be on sale inside the KiwiRail Scenic passenger carriages. Come and buy a piece of history.
