Pakuranga Choral Society's second concert of the year is 'Light and Tasty'. Music for romantics, a mix of classical operatic, contemporary and humorous, features some exciting and challenging arrangements of bright and breezy popular songs.

The agricultural noises of "Old McDonald's Farm", Cole Porter's audaciously cheeky "Let's Do It" and iconic "Night and Day". Two fine modern spirituals "Morning Tide" and "A Native American Prayer", the nostalgic "Nightingale in Berkeley Square", "Be Beside the Seaside" and two great folk medodies "All Through the Night" and "Londonderry Air" are features of a popular concert to entertain on a Sunday afternoon.

Baritone Alex Milligan, experienced in Light Opera and Music Hall will provide solo contributions.

All this brought together by conductor, Stuart Weightman.

Resident pianist, Val Sowerby, provides expert accompaniment.

A concert for pleasant easy listening for you to enjoy.
