Short course (25m) Championship swimming event held each year which sees competitive swimmers from Manawatu clubs racing against the clock and teams from around the lower North Island. This year 145 swimmers from as far afield as Wellington, Hawkes Bay, Horowhenua, Wanganui, and the Wairarapa will be in attendance at this event.

Competitors are racing for medals in the following age groups: 10 years & under; 11-12 years; 13-14 years; 15 years & over as well as in Open events. Each of the 3 sessions will feature heats followed by finals - in both age group and Open events.
