Visiting the Coromandel this summer? Come and experience nature first hand with activities for all ages & abilities.

Each year a dedicated bunch of volunteers from Moehau Environment Group run a summer holiday programme. The programme offers Kiwis and visitors the chance to experience and enjoy Coromandel’s natural treasures guided by local volunteers keen to share their passion and knowledge.

The programme has been running for over ten years and all funds raised go towards the protection of Kiwi Habitat in the Northern Coromandel.

This January’s line-up will include old favourites like our Upclose Kiwi Encounter, junior rangers and kiwi avoidance training for dogs as well as some new events, like Starlight cinema and a morepork survey.

To find out what’s on in 2013, visit www.meg.org.nz and download our programme booklet.

Bookings are essential. The team at Moehau Environment Group look forward to next summer and meeting you soon.
