Our primary aim is to celebrate and 'spread the joy' of the wonderful and large musical heritage of this region, in both sacred and folk genres. Since its formation the choir has performed at a number of Cultural Events in Christchurch. A Balkan Folklore Concert at the Ngaio Marsh theatre in June 2007, 'Songs of the Balkans' concerts in Nelson, Christchurch in 2008 and Blenheim in 2009.
