Thursday 25 April 2013 marks the 98th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings.

The public will be able to view the national commemorative service outside the National War Memorial. There will be a public viewing platform on the east lawn alongside the National War Memorial which seats approximately one hundred people. Large screens and a PA system will also be in place for people to view the service from other areas.

In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will move indoors to the Hall of Memories. Entry to the Hall is by invitation only, though some public seating may be available.

At the end of the service, the public is welcome to place a poppy on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.

Full live coverage can be viewed on TV One from 10.30am - 12 noon.

In addition to the wreath-laying ceremony, a vigil will be mounted at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior by a Tri-Service Catafalque Guard from 6am to 5pm on Anzac Day.
