The University of Waikato is hosting the official New Zealand premiere of John Psathas' 'Corybas' and 'Aegean' and pre-launch of the CD of these works in a performance by the New Zealand Chamber Soloists with piano trios by Mozart and Rachmaninov.

Please join us at the Auckland Town Hall for this spectacular event and hear from University of Waikato Emeritus Professor Ian Graham, whose generous gift to the Conservatorium of Music with his wife Agi has enabled the University to continue to promote our Music programme around the world.

Formed in 2006, the New Zealand Chamber Soloists are one of New Zealand's leading chamber ensembles, with strong ties to the University's Conservatorium of Music. Featuring Lara Hall (violin), James Tennant (cello) and Katherine Austin (piano), the trio have performed around the world to great acclaim, recently showcasing Psathas' 'Corybas' and 'Aegean' on the Greek island of Crete.

Venue open from 5.30pm, and the performance will begin at 6.30pm.
