In celebration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between Poland and New Zealand, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music present a series of events featuring Polish music and culture. All the events are free and everyone is welcome. For more details or information, contact the Embassy or NZSM.

Following a reception, some speeches and a presentation, Marian Sobula presents a recital of Polish music for piano – works by Chopin, Paderewski and Szymanowski.

Marian Sobula made his debut with Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra in Caracas in 2008. Performed in National Philharmony Hall and Grand Theater in Warsaw, Munich Philharmony, Beethovenhalle Boon, Auditorio Parco della Musica in Rome, Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, Casa de la Musica in Quito; New York, Miami, Salt Lake City, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Lima, Paris, Vienna, Madrid, Berlin, Milan, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Prague, Budapest, Bratislava, Beirut, Amman, Shanghai, Xiamen, Tokyo, Nagoya.

Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music is a joint enterprise of Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.
