In celebration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between Poland and New Zealand, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music present a series of events featuring Polish music and culture. All the events are free and everyone is welcome. For more details or information, contact the Embassy or NZSM.

SoundArtDuo consists of Barbara Borowicz – clarinet and Anna Miernik-Sobula – piano.
The duo combines the rich sounds of clarinet and piano resulting in satisfying and enjoyable experience for audiences. As admirers of national culture and Polish music that is seldom heard, or even unknown, these young artists have set themselves an ambitious goal to perform the works of Polish composers and promote the musical culture of Poland all over the world. The duo’s performance of music has been awarded several times at international music competitions (e.g. Luxembourg, Italy, Lithuania) and enthusiastically received by audiences.

In this evening's programme they will perform works by Dobrzyński , Szałowski, Papara, Lutosławski, Chyrzyński, Lampart , Penderecki.

The concert follows a reception and launch of a photography exhibition hosted by the Polish Embassy in the Great Hall of the Old Museum Building, Massey University at 6:30pm.

Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music is a joint enterprise of Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.
