The final recital concerts for NZSM postgraduate students are a highly anticipated highlight of the performance calendar. The recitals are free and open to the public and are a culmination of the intensive work that these students have put in over not just this year, but their previous year's of training also.

While most of these recitals will take place in late October and November, there are a few that are happening earlier for a variety of reasons.

Soprano and Postgraduate Diploma candidate (PGDip) Isabella Moore is taking up a position at the Wales International Academy of Voice later this year and so she is giving her final recital assessment a couple of months early. Isabella has already won multiple awards including the Wellington and Napier Aria competitions, the Radio NZ Listener's Choice Award as a semi-finalist in the 2012 Lexus Song Quest, and the Iosefa Enari Memorial Award through Creative New Zealand. More recently she received well-deserved accolades for her performances as Gulnara in NZSM's production of Verdi's Il corsaro in July.

In this recital, accompanied by Bruce Greenfield, Isabella will add songs and arias by Strauss, Wagner, Mozart, John Ritchie and Massenet to her Verdi repertoire.
