Visiting Italian pianists Massimo Perciaccante and Sara Dominici are the artistic directors of the Ludus Tonalis Accademia in Rome.

In this concert, hosted in collaboration with NZSM, they will present a concert of Romantic and early-20th Century music.

Sara will perform Liszt’s 'Venezia e Napoli' and Schumann's 'Abegg Variations' op. 1 alongside Rachmaninoff’s 'Etudes-Tableaux' op. 33 n. 2, 5, 7, 8.

In the second half of the concert, Massimo will perform Granados’s 'Los Requiebros' (from Goyescas), Scriabin's 'Prelude and Nocturne for left hand' op. 9, Chopin's 'Fantasie' op. 49 and Liszt’s 'Am stillen Herd – Lied aus Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg' (Wagner).

The concert is free but a koha (donation) towards their travel costs would be appreciated - notes rather than coins suggested.

Te Koki New Zealand School of Music is a joint venture of Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.
