Come explore the Pest-Fest, a free public event dedicated to providing information about New Zealand's pests. There will be lots of free giveaways and spot prizes! It will be the closing event for Conservation Week in Wellington so come show your support!
Bring in a weed from your garden and swap it for a free native seedling!
This event will include:
- Weed swap (swap your garden weed for a free native seedling)
- Pest eradication games for kids
- Kids crafts and mask making
- Building penguin nests
- Trapping demos
- Biocontrol booth
- Designing bird-friendly gardens
- Tracking tunnel tutorials
- Pest animal exhibits
- Kiwi conservation info
- Complimentary warm drinks

When: Sunday 15 September, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Where: Join all the festivities at Waitangi Park, Wellington (CBD)
