TNZ has over the last few years used a different number approaches (Waterfall, Critical Chain, Agile).
Mark and Grant will overview their recent projects, the good, bad and ugly experiences, and some of the lessons learnt around the theory versus the practice !!!

Mark Young
Mark has been at Toyota New Zealand for over 16 years and sits within the Executive Team. Mark has vast experience across a broad range of facets within the organisation, spanning Sales, Marketing, Information Services, HR and Corporate Planning
Mark graduated from Massey University in 1996 with a Bachelor in Business Studies majoring in Marketing and Management and has subsequently completed his MBA in 2012.

Grant Wiggins
Grant has been involved in implementing Projects for over 25 years. His PM experienced started at the age of 26 with the conversion of Eastern and Central Trust Banks entire banking system from the ASB platform to the Trust Bank Computer System.
Since then he has Project Managed a number of Projects for Massey University, including implementations of Interactive Voice Response, a Contract Centre, Web Enrol, Student Management and Learning Management Systems, as well as an institutional merger.
Grant also spent time working as a private contractor with PNCC on an ERP implementation and for Plumbing World on a number of Application and Infrastructure Projects.
He’s currently at Toyota NZ as Programme Lead where the portfolio of projects includes a large Bespoke Application Build, significantly increasing the ERP footprint, Business Intelligence, Web Redevelopment, and a Dealer Management System Replacement.
