New Zealand artists reflect on the historical and current role of NZ Post to the rural community. This thought provoking mixed media exhibition also pays tribute to the artistry and exquisite design behind our most memorable stamps. For those who choose to live off the beaten track rural delivery is a vital link with the outside world and now under threat with declining services in the digital age.

The theme has sparked the imagination of a diverse and talented group of established and emerging artists. Rural Delivery is an indoor and outdoor exhibition. Original art and design on exhibition includes Rural Delivery Mailbags by textile artist and embroiderer Jane Siddall. Artisan Furniture based on rural mail boxes by Robin Cuff. Cartoon character recycled metal mailboxs by Adrian Worsley. Also ceramic stamp wall hangings by Aaron Scythe and 1950s fabric stamps commemorating the Queen featuring on upcycled garments by Ciane Lawrey (Ginger).
