From delicate heartfelt textures and tones to wide open foot stomping atmospheric joy, the live performance of such a talented loop artist is a superb experience. Sonic Delusion uses a loop pedal to record snapshots of sound, artfully layering them into the weave of the song.

Matiu 'The Hook' Te Huki

Matiu Te Huki is known for his amazing vocal skills and power, his ability to connect to, hold and lift a crowd either whilst fronting a band, or as a solo artist.

Matiu's messages in his music are positive, uplifting, inspiring and motivating. The music itself is soulful roots, dub, reggae, funk and hip hop.

Matiu Te Huki is a singer songwriter who has collaborated with and recorded with artists such as Tiki Taane, Anika Moa, DLT and more. He has also performed with the likes of Fat Freddies drop, Rhombus, Pitch Black, Hori Buzz, Hikoikoi, Omecha Supreme and more.

He was the founding member of the popular roots band Homefire Burning and is currently still a member of Basscamp and his current band My Golden Soul.

Amiria Grenell (from Fly My Pretties & Winner of Tui NZ music award for Best Folk Album 2012) is playing at Bar Berlin near the end of her Summer Tour!

Amiria has been non-stop since releasing her latest album 'Three Feathers' in September 2011. She has toured New Zealand and Melbourne with 'Fly My Pretties', won a Tui award for Best Folk Album in the New Zealand Music Awards 2012, performed to packed-out crowds at the Christchurch Arts Festival, International Jazz Festival, Kaikoura Roots Festival, Luminate, WOMAD and Nelson Arts Festival 2012, and recently made Top 10 album in the official NZ Music Chart. Her styles range from folk to reggae, blues to country.
