Last weeks Bossa Legal is going to be hard to beat however we think we have a duex that will push them hard! Delmonico's Bistro and Wine Bars Supper Club are proud to welcome "A Duex".

Margot Wuts (voice) & David Boston (guitar): two of the finest musicians in Hawke's Bay, bringing you a memorable mingling of vocal chords... A mélange of music from “Summertime” to Stevie Wonder, Al Green to “Autumn Leaves”. Slip into a cocktail dress, button up your bow-tie and sneak down to the Supper Club at Delmonico’s Bistro & Wine Bar at the Viceroy Hotel.

Margot is no stranger to Hawke's Bay audiences, having regularly performed in various groups since moving to Napier from Wellington over nine years ago. She sings in a wide variety of styles, but her first great love has always been vocal jazz in the vein of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn.

Having started study at the Christchurch Jazz School, Margot moved to Auckland, where she promptly found work (and a residency at De Bretts) in the funk band “Colours”. When this finished she moved to Wellington, where she quickly became a fixture on the scene, working with cover bands, the jazz group “Shaken Not Stirred”, and a critically lauded “Nina Simone tribute” at the Wellington International Jazz Festival. She went on to become a regular member of the well known percussion group “Strike” (“Strike Sound System”), alongside Lisa Tomlins (“Fly My Pretties”, “Fat Freddie’s Drop”, etc.) headlining such venues as the “Queenstown Winter Festival” and the “Manukau Arts Festival”.

Dave Boston, born and bred in Napier, NZ started playing guitar at age 10, and has been playing professionally for over 30 years. Despite rarely performing outside Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, he has still managed to have played with Billy Gibbons, Nathan Haines, Debbie Harwood, Jackie Clark, Tom Sharplin, and various other "out of towner’s".

Dave was awarded a QSM (Queen's Service Medal) in 2009 for services to Music.

Dave calls himself "Jack of all trades" and plays Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Flamenco, and Contemporary styles of guitar. Dave’s main influences are: Bireli Lagrene, Paco De Lucia, Robben Ford, Steve Lukather, George Benson, Jimi Hendrix, Mike Stern and Django Reinhardt.
