Joanna Jeffery has received high acclaim and an MBE for her research into the use of phonics and other approaches to the teaching of reading. She developed the highly successful game Trugs for use in schools and Literacy Centres, which is receiving rave reviews in the UK.
We are thrilled to announce that Joanna will be here in New Zealand to offer highly sought after Professional Development. This interactive workshop will provide innovative ideas for phonics teaching, coupled with a variety of other approaches that support all learning styles.
The workshop is relevant to one-on-one and whole-class teaching and will help both those teaching emerging or struggling readers and those teaching gifted readers.
Participants will leave with complimentary exercises that they will be able to use immediately in the classroom.
