If you’re an Auckland business, school, club or group that enjoys cycling and doing something good for this world, NZ aid and development agency TEAR Fund is calling for you to enter the 2013 Poverty Cycle Challenge!

The Poverty Cycle Challenge is a road relay race that pits teams of six against each other to complete six laps of a 20km circuit.

Aiming to raise over $120,000 for the world’s most vulnerable and at-risk children, all funds will go towards our child trafficking prevention program in Nepal, and to our local partner Brothers In Arms, who work with at-risk youth in NZ.

For spectators, this event is going to be a fun, family-friendly day out (from 9am) with a designated family area, including face painting and games!

If you’re up for the challenge, keen to exercise your social responsibility or just want to come watch on the day, visit www.povertycycle.org.nz or call 0800 800 777.
