To celebrate the launch of the new K Rd Vintage Guide, Decadia and the K Road Business Association are hosting a day long vintage extravaganza!

On offer are super special vintage store discounts for one day only, free makeovers in St Kevin's Arcade, a spot of afternoon tea, portraits with the Glory Days magazine photographer, fabulous prizes, a Well Dressed Protest to highlight the decline in sartorial standards - all rounded off with some post-protest libations.

Come along, bring your friends, wear your best and show your support for one of the best vintage shopping areas in New Zealand!

11am Glory Days Greet and Guide
Swing by St Kevins Arcade to meet the team from Glory Days magazine, pick up your K Rd Vintage Guide and find out all the gossip about the fantastic one day only specials and savings that are available from participating vintage stores in the area

12 - 3pm Photo/Shop
Armed with your K Rd guide, explore the stores, purchase one off vintage pieces at excellent prices, treat yourself to a free vintage makeover from Decadia and The Vanity Case and have your portrait taken with your new treats by the Glory Days photographer to go into the draw to win a bumper vintage prize hamper... if you get snapped you may even feature in the next issue of Glory Days Magazine!

3 - 4pm Alleylula for Afternoon Tea
Join fellow vintage lovers for a spot of tea and cake at Alleylula Cafe in the beautiful surrounds of St Kevin's Arcade

4pm A Well Dressed Protest
If you believe that slippers should stay indoors and are fed up with seeing pyjamas flaunted in public, then don your finest threads, petticoat, hat, gloves, spats, walking cane and monocle for an afternoon saunter along K Rd to protest against declining sartorial standards

5pm Bumper Prize Draw
Meet back at St Kevin's Arcade for the super special prize draw. Enter by making a purchase from a participating K Rd vintage store, having your photo taken by the Glory Days photographer and strutting your stuff in the best dressed parade!

5.30pm Post Protest Libations
Head over to Hard Luck Cafe for a tipple and a bite to eat. There may even be some dancing.
